Accommodation on and near the Kettle Valley Rail Trail
Accommodation along the trail varies from rustic campsites to luxurious Inns and welcoming B&B’s. Motels are comfortable and reasonably priced and the BC Provincial Park Campgrounds are spacious and well maintained. You can camp the whole way or you may choose to lighten your load by staying in a variety of places – this also gives you opportunity to mix it up and meet the locals at B&B’s and cabins.
Whatever you decide, you will experience incredible scenery along the way and well placed services and amenities for stocking up.
What we recommend!
If you plan to do a multi day trip on the KVR, chances are you are going to enjoy a day or two rest either midway or at the end of your journey – the best part can be stopping and exploring the regions along the way. A favorite plan would be to cycle from Midway to Osoyoos with possibly a layover day half way and 2-3 days relaxing wherever you finish. The Okanagan Valley offers a multitude of accommodation options with lots of activities to enjoy such as wine tasting/touring, stand up paddle boarding on the lake, relaxing on a sandy beach, swimming, hiking and more.
You may want to treat yourself to a restorative/rejuvenating treatment such as massage, reflexology/foot massage or a yoga class to unwind the muscles.
